I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor in the State of Idaho where I provide counseling and psychotherapy services for adults and couples, a variety of coaching services, consulting services for parents, couples, individuals, and human service organizations, and professional trainings.  

For counseling and psychotherapy services, I am GENERALLY an in-network provider with the following major health insurance agencies in Idaho: 

• Blue Cross of Idaho  (including Medicare Advantage)
• Regence Blue Shield of Idaho
• Select Health (including Medicare Advantage)
• several other agencies (contact your insurance company to see if I am an-in network provider on your plan).

Please, always call your health insurance company and find out: 

1.  If Teresa Heald LCSW/Abundance Counseling & Wellness LLC is an in-network provider. 

2. What benefits your policy provides for "outpatient mental/behavioral health" counseling.  Since each policy is different, your particular policy may not cover counseling, even if I am in-network with your health insurance company.

 3.  If I am not listed as an in-network provider, then ask if your policy has out-of-network benefits, and if you need prior authorization in order to receive those benefits.

Did you know that you can always pay out-of-pocket for my services (except if you have Medicare)?  You can!  That way you avoid your health insurance company from potentially having access to any diagnoses, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.  If you elect for me to not bill your insurance, whether or not I am in-network, payment is due in full at time of service.  I cannot legally discount therapy services if I am in-network with your plan and you elect to NOT use your health insurance.  Super confusing, I know.

I do NOT contract with any EAP's (Employee Assistance Programs).

I do NOT contract with Idaho Medicaid, Tricare, United Health Care, Aetna, or Cigna. 

Payment is due at time of service, including any co-pays or co-insurance.  I accept most major credit cards, debit cards (including HSA and FSA debit cards), cash, and checks.
